Orca: The Storm in Kiambu Waters 🌊
While champions were crowned and medals raised, one story stood out—the rise of Orca Swim Club.
The Man Behind the Wave
Leading Orca is Coach Silas Kennedy—a former national breaststroker, born and raised in Dandora. Once a boxer, now a swimming visionary, Silas carries with him not just passion but ASCA Level 5 Certification, the highest honor in global swim coaching.
Silas is a fighter, a dreamer, and a builder of champions. Away from the pool, he’s fueled by speed bikes; inside it, he’s crafting the next generation of fearless swimmers.
The Orca Dream
In just a short time, Silas has molded a team of boys and girls who swim with grit, speed, and determination—like they were born with gills. His ambition? To dominate the Kiambu Aquatics League for three consecutive seasons and then storm the national stage.
The stakes are even higher. A wealthy parent in the hospitality sector and member of Orca has promised Silas a superbike reward—but only if Orca defeats two of Kenya’s powerhouse teams, one from Nairobi and one from Mombasa.
Is the mission impossible? Not in Orca’s dream.
🔥 Orca isn’t here to participate. Orca is here to rule the waters.
Final Word
The Kiambu Aquatics Inter-Club Invitational Championship has set the tone for the 2025–2026 swimming season. With structured competition, a growing prize pool, and passionate clubs like Orca shaking up the waters, the future of Kenyan swimming has never looked brighter.
🌊 KCAA Strong. Next Wave Ready.
