The Kiambu Aquatics Invitational Swimming Championship, held this past weekend at Mpesa Foundation Academy, Thika, marked a major milestone in the association’s journey. The championship brought together athletes, coaches, technical officials, parents, partners, and swimming fans from across the country in what became the most attended Kiambu Aquatics event since its inception.

Kiambu Aquatics extends sincere gratitude to everyone who participated and supported the championship. Your presence, commitment, and passion for the sport transformed the event into a true celebration of competitive swimming in Kenya.

Unprecedented Participation and Growing National Confidence

On behalf of the Kiambu Aquatics Executive Committee Board, we are deeply encouraged by the overwhelming turnout from clubs nationwide. The strong participation is a clear sign of the growing confidence in the Kiambu Aquatics programme and its vision for structured, athlete-centered development.

This level of trust motivates us to continue raising our standards. At the heart of everything we do are the athletes—whose discipline, resilience, and commitment continue to inspire the swimming fraternity and sustain the growth of the sport.

Acknowledging Challenges and Committing to Improvement

While the championship was a success, we acknowledge that the high number of entries extended the programme on Day One. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

We are grateful for the constructive feedback and practical recommendations shared by stakeholders. These insights will guide improvements in future events to ensure smoother scheduling, enhanced efficiency, and an even better competition experience for all participants.
