Creator Of Success

Stanley ole Kaberu, a former elite swimmer who represented Kenya in premier international competitions under Africa Aquatics Zone IV and V, serves as the Patron of KCAA. Passionate about the sport, he remains active in Masters swimming, exemplifying his lifelong dedication to aquatics.

As Patron, Kaberu provides visionary leadership, fostering harmony among members and stakeholders while guiding the implementation of KCAA’s strategic goals. His efforts focus on developing talent, promoting water safety, and ensuring inclusivity in aquatic sports.

With his extensive experience and unwavering commitment, Kaberu inspires the Kiambu aquatic community, driving KCAA toward greater heights of excellence.

Gedeon Kioko

Chairman (KCAA)
As Chairman of KCAA, Gedeon Kioko is a visionary leader committed to developing swimming from grassroots to elite levels. With expertise in sports management and coaching, he has implemented programs to enhance skills for swimmers and coaches alike. Dedicated to inclusivity, teamwork, and resilience, Kioko envisions Kiambu County as a hub for swimming excellence, providing athletes with quality training and opportunities to compete at the highest levels.

Nashon Otieno

Vice Chairperson
As Vice Chairperson, Nashon Otieno leads the Technical Committee and oversees the coordination of swimming galas. He ensures the smooth execution of technical aspects, including event scheduling, timing systems, and officiating protocols. Passionate about fostering collaboration among coaches, athletes, and officials, Nashon is dedicated to hosting well-organized competitions that promote excellence and elevate the standards of aquatic sports in Kiambu County.

Mr. Douglas Okatso

Honorary Secretary
Daktari is a dedicated sports administrator specializing in recreation and international relations. A PADI-certified diver and ILS-accredited Lifesaving Instructor, he champions aquatic safety and excellence. Committed to nurturing talent and fostering inclusivity, he envisions a thriving aquatic community. His expertise aligns KCAA's activities with global best practices, ensuring sustainable growth and elevating aquatic sports standards in Kiambu County and beyond.

Jacqueline Macharia

Assistant Secretary
Jacqueline Macharia, a Level 3 Swimming Coach, is committed to advancing aquatic sports in Kenya. As Assistant Secretary of Kiambu Aquatics and Head Coach of Harpoons Swimming Club, she brings leadership and competitive experience, including representing Kenya in CANA Championships. An active Masters swimmer and member of the Kenya Swimming Teachers and Coaches Association, she works to inspire athletes and foster a thriving swimming community.

Assistant Treasurer

As Assistant Treasurer of Kiambu County Aquatics, she plays a key role in budgeting, tracking finances, preparing reports, managing event payments, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Her dedication ensures financial transparency, effective resource management, and alignment with the federation’s long-term goals, contributing to the growth of aquatic sports in the region.

Valentine Wambui, a certified ASCA Level 4 coach and Head Coach of Supermarlins Swimming Club, plays a vital role in promoting competitive swimming in Kiambu County and beyond. With a Bachelor's in Sports Science from Kenyatta University, she emphasizes discipline, resilience, and technical excellence. As Assistant Coach for Team Kenya at the 8th Africa Aquatics Zone 3 Championship, she mentors athletes while advocating for grassroots development and inclusivity in aquatic sports.
