The Kiambu County Aquatics Association (KCAA) is delighted to acknowledge the recent spotlight by Kenya Swimming TV, which highlighted one of our own unsung heroes — Trizah Waithira, a dedicated administrator whose quiet leadership continues to strengthen the foundation of swimming within our county.

Trizah’s work is often behind the scenes, but its impact is felt across every competition, every club, and every swimmer she supports. At every national championship, she is a constant presence — steady, organised, and fully committed to ensuring that operations flow seamlessly.

This week,  4th -7th December 2025, as she serves at the Kenya Aquatics National Swimming Championship at the Bandari Maritime Academy in Mombasa, she embodies the spirit of service that continues to uplift the Kiambu Aquatics family.

Beyond her national duties, Trizah plays a pivotal role within our county as a key administrator at the ever-growing Kiambu Aquatics. Her dedication provides structure, guidance, and much-needed support to young swimmers, coaches, and parents. Her consistency is one of the invisible forces driving the county’s steady rise in Kenya’s aquatic landscape.

The recognition by Kenya Swimming TV is both well-deserved and timely. It reminds us that:
Champions are not only those who swim the fastest — some are those who work tirelessly behind the scenes to make the journey possible for others.

On behalf of KCAA, we celebrate Trizah Waithira for her commitment, humility, and exemplary service.
Her efforts continue to inspire us all.
