The countdown is on! The Kiambu County Aquatics Association (KCAA) is proud to officially launch the 2026–2027 swimming season with the highly anticipated Interclubs Swimming Gala, scheduled for 29th–30th August 2026 at Potterhouse School.
As the first championship of the new season, the Interclubs Swimming Gala promises an exciting weekend of competition, bringing together clubs, schools, coaches, swimmers, officials, and supporters from across Kenya. With fresh ambitions, new talent, and returning champions, the event sets the stage for another thrilling year of competitive swimming.
A New Season Begins
Every swimming season begins with new opportunities. For returning athletes, the gala offers a chance to build on last season’s achievements and set the tone for the months ahead. For newcomers, it marks the beginning of an exciting competitive journey where they can test their skills, gain valuable race experience, and represent their clubs with pride.
The Interclubs Swimming Gala is more than an opening meet—it is where rivalries are renewed, friendships are strengthened, and future champions begin their pursuit of excellence.
Competition Across All Age Groups
The championship will feature races for swimmers across all development levels, ensuring an inclusive and competitive environment.
The age categories include:
- Under 7
- 8–9 Years
- 10–11 Years
- 12–13 Years
- 14–15 Years
- 16–17 Years
- 18 Years & Over
With events catering to both emerging and elite swimmers, spectators can expect two days of fast-paced racing, exciting finishes, and outstanding performances.
