The 2025–2026 Kiambu Aquatics Swimming League has come to a thrilling conclusion, with Orca Swim Club Kenya successfully defending their title to emerge as league champions for the second consecutive season.

After months of intense competition and outstanding performances, Orca Swim Club finished at the top of the standings, overcoming strong competition from more than 60 swimming clubs throughout the season. Their consistency, discipline, and determination have once again cemented their place among Kenya’s leading swimming clubs.

A Championship Built on Hard Work

Championships are not won in a single race—they are earned through months of dedication, early morning training sessions, teamwork, and unwavering commitment.

Throughout the 2025–2026 season, Orca Swim Club demonstrated remarkable consistency, collecting valuable league points at every championship while producing exceptional performances across multiple age categories.

Their success reflects a club culture built on excellence, resilience, and continuous improvement.

Coach Sila Kennedy: The Architect Behind the Success

Behind every successful team is visionary leadership, and for Orca Swim Club, that leader is Coach Sila Kennedy.

Coach Sila has become one of Kenya’s respected swimming coaches, dedicating his career to developing young talent through structured Learn-to-Swim and Competitive Swimming programmes. His philosophy focuses not only on winning races but also on building discipline, confidence, character, and long-term athletic development.

His passion for sport extends beyond swimming. Before becoming a renowned swimming coach, Coach Sila was a Kenya Police Service “Chafua Chafua” boxer and an accomplished national breaststroke swimmer, experiences that continue to influence his coaching style and commitment to excellence.

His ability to inspire athletes and build a winning culture has been instrumental in Orca Swim Club’s continued dominance in the Kiambu Aquatics Swimming League.

A Season to Remember

The Kiambu Aquatics Swimming League has grown into one of Kenya’s most competitive swimming leagues, providing clubs with a platform to measure progress, nurture talent, and encourage healthy competition.

The 2025–2026 season showcased:

  • Outstanding swimmer performances

  • Improved competition standards
  • Exciting races throughout the league calendar

Winning such a competitive league for two consecutive seasons is a remarkable achievement and a testament to the hard work of the swimmers, coaches, parents, and supporters who make up the Orca Swim Club family.

Kiambu Aquatics congratulates Coach Sila Kennedy, every swimmer, assistant coach, parent, and supporter who contributed to this incredible success.

Your dedication continues to inspire the swimming community and demonstrates what can be achieved through hard work, consistency, and teamwork.

As one season comes to an end, another begins. The challenge now is not only to defend the title once again but to continue raising the standard of competitive swimming in Kenya.
